The American Special Hockey Association is proud to annouce internship of Ryan Olson. Ryan is a Concordia St. Paul Student, with a heart for the game. Ryan grew up in Andover, Minnesota where I played hockey for 13 years. Ryan graduated from Andover in 2014 before going on to play both hockey and lacrosse collegiately and Saint John’s University.  Ryan has coached hockey in Andover since I was a freshman in high school, contributing more than 1,500 hours of volunteer work in the program. Ryan also coached with a local AAA program (Hometown Hockey MN) where I am now the Goaltending Director.

Ryan will work on Special Projects with both ASHA and the ASHA Ambassadors program. Ryan will be invovoled in developing documents for special events and partnerships. Ryan also will be involved in the continued development of the ASHA Coaching Education Program. 

Mike Hickey, ASHA President says the Ryan will bring a special skill set to our organization as we move forward in continued growth of the organization. We are proud to have him as part of TEAM ASHA and look forward to working with him as he continues to further his education.
