Some great news for ASHA and all of its member organizations:

United Commercial Travelers (UCT) has voted to join in partnership with American Special Hockey Association (ASHA). Please visit to learn more about their organization.

UCT will be making a very generous donation to ASHA each year for the next three years. In addition to this funding UCT will also allocate additional funds this year for the formation of the Canadian Special Hockey Association (CSHA)  which will be an affiliate organization to ASHA and help with program support and growth to Special Hockey programs in Canada. Both organizations will work together on International, National and Regional Tournaments and Camps for Special Hockey programs. UCT also have local chapters which will work with ASHA and CSHA programs in their area on local level support.

We will be making a formal announcement on December 31st in Pittsburgh at the Winter Classic where a ASHA team from the Washington area will play a game vs. the Steel City Icebergs from Pittsburgh. This will be a way for ASHA to give back to UCT, NHL "Hockey is for Everyone" and USA Hockey Disabled.

There will be a press release coming soon with more details on the partnership.
